emily micaheal: When it comes to poetry, mine is below base and less than amateur, I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. But sometimes you just need to write. Sometimes it's the only way to clear your head of many, many thoughts, frustrations, and wonderings. And sometimes those thoughts, frustrations, and wonderings turn into beautifully painted pictures, when they are given the chance at least. I like to say that I may have no experience, and my poetry isn't good, but the words paint pictures and tell stories. If you like it, great! I'm glad. But if it clears my head and helps me see straight, then I've accomplished what I set out to do.
